Are you a new librarian, paralegal, or researcher?  Do you want to brush up on your legal research skills?  Join us for the LLSDC Legal Research Institutes, two full-day workshops designed to introduce the concepts of legal research and prepare participants to perform research using legal resources.  The workshops are designed and taught by experienced librarians from local law schools, law firms, and the government.  The LRI is open to anyone and would be especially beneficial to those who are new to legal research or are information professionals looking to sharpen their legal research skills.

The 2020 Legal Research Institutes will be held at Georgetown Law Library on Thursday, March 12, and Friday, March 13. Participants may sign up for a single day or join us for both days for a comprehensive learning experience.

Institute I (Thursday, March 12) will cover case law, statutes, and secondary sources.

Institute II (Friday, March 13) will cover legislative history, administrative law, and cost-effective research.
