The Legislative Research Special Interest Section will be holding an in-person brown bag event on Tuesday, September 24^th at noon at Van Ness Feldman, 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW.  Bring your own lunch. Beverages will be provided.

We will be exploring some topics that we didn’t get around to at the last meeting (plus a few new ones):

• What products are people using for legislative tracking?
• Where do they excel? Where do they fall short?
• What types of reports or tracking documents do you prepare?
• How are we dealing with markups – finding amendments, preparing redlines?
• How are we getting Hearing transcripts?
• Are we using Gen AI to summarize prepared hearings or other legislative documents?
