Ongoing Projects
  • ILL-101-  We are compiling all the information a person would need in case the collective LLSDC ILL-SIS group were simultaneously hit by buses one day.  Our very rough draft of an ILL Wiki can be found at:  http://ill-sis-llsdc.wetpaint.com/  Feel free to take a look and leave feedback.  If you'd like to add content contact anyone in the ILL-SIS group to receive an electronic invitation.
  • Logo - Have an idea for an ILL-SIS logo?  Bring it to the meeting or e-mail it to:  jennifer.dollar@sutherland.com       You can view some of the examples at: http://www.llsdc.org/en/photos/albums/v/4
  • T-Shirts - CafePress allows us to have as many designs as we want.  Buy only the items you want. http://www.cafepress.com/llsdc
Links of Interest

  • Directory of DC Law Libraries - This is a link to the electronic directory of all the firms that have included their library information in the LLSDC ILL directory.  Printable *.pdf versions are available by clicking on the following links:
    • 2009-2010 Directory of DC Law Libraries -  This version will print nicely with each page on one letter size piece of paper.  You may want to consider using "copy 2 sided" if you are going to print this.
    • 2009-2010 Directory Law Libraries - Booklet Version- This version will print in a booklet format.  If you look at the file you will notice the pages seem out of order but if you print the file double sided (be sure to tell it to "flip on the short side") you will get a directory you can fold over and bind.  If you are having problems with printing try this suggestion from Esther Ojuri:
      • Print>Properties>Duplex>Open to Top
      • Keep other options on default:
      • Layout: 1 page per sheet
      • Orientation: Portrait
      • Here’s the important part: only print pages 2-31 (printing the whole PDF will disrupt the order of the pages)
      • Then print page 1 by itself
Want to create your own Directory of Law Libraries? - You can create your own directory by highlighting each page of the LLSDC directory then "copy" and "paste"-ing each page into a word processing document.  You can then put the entries in whatever format you want by editing the pages with the word processing tools.  Note: you may want to strip out the html code by "copy" and "paste"-ing the pages into a program like MS Notepad before going to the word processor.
