The LLSDC Executive Board meeting was held Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at noon at Morrison & Foerster. The Treasurer and Membership report was received and approved by the Board. Board members noted that the Town Hall meeting was a success and that David Mao gave a very interesting talk to the attendees. Board member liaison reports were heard and it was noted that the Federal SIS group was holding a program on “Libraries of the Future” on May 22nd and a PLL meeting was scheduled for that Friday, the 23rd.

Alicia Pappas reported that banners and items to be handed out at the

AALL Annual Meeting this summer are being purchased. The Board also approved funds for Alicia to purchase a “Banner Bug” that could be used not only at the annual conference but also other LLSDC events.

Finally, Alicia stated that tickets for the Washington Nationals baseball game event on June 17, 2014, were selling well and that the LLSDC closing reception would be held on June 3, 2014, at Finnegan, on the rooftop space.
