Kilpatrick Stockton LLP, a full-service international law firm with nearly 500 attorneys in nine offices, seeks a full time Librarian to join its library services team. The Librarian will have primary responsibility for providing information services to attorneys and staff in the DC and NY offices, and managing the administrative activities of contract service providers in both offices. The position reports to the Director of Library & Records Services and works under the supervision of the Washington Office Administrator.
Masters of Library Science from an ALA acccredited institution or a J.D. degree is preferred; undergraduate degree required. A minimum of three years of professional law library experience is required. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple requests, produce superior results under tight deadlines, and add to the team environment that currently exists.

Ability to locate resources and information in a cost-effective manner using print materials, online databases, and interlibrary loans.
Demonstrated leadership skills such as organizing, problem-solving, planning, controlling, and decision-making for effective management.
Thorough knowledge of library operations including design requirements for a law library, cataloging, and appropriate reference materials.

Computer Skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Expertise using a broad variety of print and online resources: e.g., Mealey's, Westlaw, Lexis, Pacer, D&B, Courtlink.
