  • GPO Congressional Publication Releases Project

    This project has been suspended for the time being. As substitutes see related Government Printing Office (GPO) sites including New Titles (both electronic and tangible), Congressional Committee Materials, (by committee) and Federal Depository Library Information - Shipping Lists (change applicable shipping list number to update list). Please note that most Congressional hearings are no longer printed in tangible form by GPO, but may be available as print-on-demand items (202-512-1800). Federal depository libraries and the related Congressional committees are some the few places that receive selected tangible copies of Congressional hearings automatically. GPO Access makes available in PDF most Congressional committee material with certain committees excepted.

  • Union List of Legislative Histories, 7th Edition, 2000.

OUT OF PRINT

This notable looseleaf publication contains a listing by public law number of legislative history collections on thousands of U.S. laws in over 140 law libraries in the Washington, D.C. area. Public law enactment dates range from 1790 to 1998. Each listing contains the public law, statute, and bill numbers, as well as the subject matter, history formats, and abbreviations for the libraries holding the histories. The publication is updated on an irregular basis. There is also a listing of participating libraries with contact and loan policy information.
Price:  $75.00 to Society members members, plus $10.69 shipping/handling and $4.31 D.C. sales tax (total cost: $90.00); $100 for non-members, plus $11.25 shipping/handling and $5.75 D.C. sales tax (total cost: $117.00).
