Brown Bag Lunch - Conversation with Alan Frumin, Retired Senate Parliamentarian

The Legislative-SIS will be holding a brown-bag lunch onSeptember 18, 2012 from12:30-1:30pm at the offices ofHogan Lovells, LLP, located at555 F St., NW (reception in Lobby).

 

Our guest for the brown bag will be retired Senate Parliamentarian Alan Frumin. 

 

Mr. Frumin will be joining us to have a conversation about his time as Parliamentarian, what it was like to help set the rules of the Senate and to discuss any of your questions regarding Senate (and Congressional) procedure.  Mr. Frumin is the longest serving Parliamentarian and he brings to the conversation a wide breadth of knowledge and some interesting anecdotes about daily life in the Senate.
