Event Notes:

With more than a million apps out there for smart phones, how do you separate the wheat from the chaff? Are there actually useful apps for law libraries, or is everybody just playing Angry Birds?

Join us for a presentation and discussion of mobile apps to get answers to these questions and ask some questions of your own.  For this program, Roger Skalbeck will demonstrate and discuss several apps and activities that work well on mobile devices and tablets, such as the iPhone, iPad, Android and Windows 7 smart phones.  These will include apps for research, document delivery, note taking, collaboration and other productive activities.  Half of the program will be open for discussion and group demonstrations.

UPDATE: Please feel free to bring your lunch to the event. Beverages will be provided.

Directions to the Mobile Applications Session
The GWU Law School is about four blocks from the Foggy Bottom/GWU and Farragut West Metro stations.  Enter the Law School at 716 20 St., which is located midway between G and H Sts.  The elevator to the Faculty Conference Center (fifth floor) will be on your left as you enter the building.
