LLSDC is planning to participate in the AALL Annual Meeting Chapter VIP Program and we need your help! The Chapter VIP Program allows each Chapter to invite up to two guests to attend the Annual Meeting for which AALL will provide complimentary full registration. Full registration includes a ticket to the Opening Event and the Closing Banquet. The Legal Research Institutes are set for March 10 and 11. The Institutes are one-day introductory workshops on legal research. The workshops cover both print and electronic sources and teach a variety of topics. In January, LLSDC Assistant Treasurer Heather Bourke resigned her position with Georgetown Law Library and also with LLSDC. LLSDC has a new committee: the Government Relations Committee (GRC). This committee was formed by Leslie Street and Catherine Dunn, both of Georgetown Law Library. A quick update on what is going on in the Legislative Research SIS. Work continues on our update of the Union List of Legislative Histories and we hope to begin distributing lists of holdings (for updating) to participating libraries in early February.
