Volunteer opportunities at LLSDC.

To help in these tough times, LLSDC is offering a discounted membership rate for current LLSDC members who are recently unemployed. The discounted membership appears as an "Active" membership but is billed at the student rate ($25 instead of $50). The discounted rate is good through May 31, 2011. Unemployed LLSDC members should contact Frances Brillantine (brillantine@law.edu) to sign up.

We are making great progress on the LLSDC Law Library Directory -- 75 listings as of this writing! The Law Library Directory is accessible from the LLSDC Publications page (located on the left sidebar of every llsdc.org page). For information on adding your library's listing, please see Website Help (located on the left sidedbar of every llsdc.org page). From the Website Help page, click "Membership and Law Library Directory."

The LLSDC Membership Directory is a separate database from the Law Library Directory. It is generated from data submitted when a person joins LLSDC. The Membership Directory is accessible from the LLSDC Publications page (located on the left sidebar of every llsdc.org page). The LLSDC election will commence on April 15, 2009 and voting will end at midnight on May 9, 2009. Voting will be via the AALL's online balloting system. By the 15th you will receive an email with your login/password enabling you to vote. LLSDC is planning to participate in the AALL Annual Meeting Chapter VIP Program and we need your help! The Chapter VIP Program allows each Chapter to invite up to two guests to attend the Annual Meeting for which AALL will provide complimentary full registration.
