| LLSDC has a new committee: the Government Relations Committee (GRC). This committee was formed by Leslie Street and Catherine Dunn, both of Georgetown Law Library. Interest in forming an LLSDC Government Relations Committee was sparked by a recent program featuring Mary Alice Baish and Emily Feldman from the AALL Washington Affairs Office. The Government Relations Committee's purpose is to monitor pending national, state, and local legislation as well as executive and administrative action that affects LLSDC, its member law libraries, the practice of law librarianship, and information dissemination (in accordance with AALL’s Government Relations Policy).
