The Law Librarians Society of Washington. D.C. will be holding the 2010 Legal Research Institutes at the Georgetown Law Library on March 9th and 10th.
The Legal Research Institutes are one-day introductory workshops on legal research. The workshops cover both print and electronic sources and teach a variety of topics. The workshops are aimed at those who are new to legal research and those who want to sharpen their legal research skills.
Institute I (March 9th) will cover case law, statutes, and administrative law.
Institute II (March 10th) will cover legislative history, secondary sources, and cost-effective research.
