Statement:
In 2001, I began my librarian career at WilmerHale as the library's billing coordinator. My primary job function was to process all of the library’s invoices for payment. During the following two years, my interest in the field of librarianship has grown with the encouragement of my coworkers. I joined LLSDC and AALL and attended a number of functions. Determined to continue on a career path of a law librarian, I enrolled in University of Maryland's MLS program. My LLSDC membership provided me with a strong law librarian network, which allowed me to gain different perspectives while completing my school assignments.
After obtaining my master's degree, I continued to work for WilmerHale and was promoted to Information and Resources Librarian. I am currently serving on the LLSDC board as Treasurer. I would like to continue my involvement in LLSDC by serving as a board member.
